The best candidates for conversion are shutters where the curtain and guides are in good condition but the manual winder box has failed, is inconvenient, or the shutter is being used frequently enough that manual operation is becoming a daily annoyance.

We remove the existing winder mechanism, fit the motor inside the tube, and run the power cable through the housing box to the wall. A new wall switch is installed beside the window, and a remote is programmed to the motor's receiver. Travel limits are set on site and the shutter is tested before we leave.
